Bj is the main character in this comic strip. He's a laid back fifteen year old who wants to start a career in hip-hop. You will often see him writing down lyrics and listening to music. He also reads and gets good grades in school. His ambition is music but he believes in getting educated. Bj can write some dope lyrics but he is shy especially around the females. His favorite artist is Nas.

Edward is Bj's friend. He's a class clown and often times plays too much. Despite his lack of maturity Edward can ball, and he's also a good graffiti artist. Edward will always have a pair of clean sneakers and a crispy white tee. Edward's favorite rap artist is Jay-Z. Edward is a self portrait of me when I was in college.

Plymouth is Bj's other best friend. His parents are separated so he lives out in the suburbs with his mother and stepfather. Living out in the burbs made Plymouth act kind of "white" so the others clown him when he visits them every weekend. His father is black, mother white so he has the best of both worlds. He loves to skateboard and do stuff that is not normally hood. Plymouth listens to whoever is hot on the radio.
